Amendment 1 and 2 Pass
Large margin of victory for Amendment 1 and 2.
Does anyone else have a problem with Judge Roy Moore saying that we didn’t understand the amendments? I’m a little tired of political figures openly airing their view that voters aren’t smart enough to understand things they (political figures) think they understand. The President is doing it to us in regards to illegal immigration. I’m weary of being told I don’t understand.
Heads up Judge Moore and others: Most of us did research on how we voted. Whether for or against. News alert! We are INFORMED VOTERS. Accept it. Just because the vote doesn’t go with your line of thinking doesn’t mean people didn’t understand. It appears it’s as simple as a vast majority didn’t agree with your thinking.
Especially regarding women voters in Alabama: We are informed voters, not trout going with the flow. We have minds, we read, we think, we discuss, we vote. Simple.
I’m getting some very supportive emails from fellow voters (mostly women) who agree with this post! Those of you considering running for office should be on alert concerning this matter!
