Lowell Barron give me a break….

June 7, 2007

The Associated Press reports that it is unlikely that legislation concerning PAC to PAC transfers will pass this session. (Click here to read the story)  Lowell Barron, of course, likes to throw blame on anyone but his own party and their campaigns full of lies.  Did we not hear candidate after candidate on the Democratic side saying they would work hard to ban PAC to PAC transfers?  But yet again, the Dems in Alabama fail to keep their promise.  They would rather inhibit work getting accomplished by forcing unreasonable senate rules that speed projects through without time for anyone to study what a bill actually is.  Can anyone say "Swift Pay Raises?"

Excuse me Mr. Barron, but the citizens of Alabama elected people to serve in the house and senate so that they could effectively study law and  work to do what is good for the people.  We didn’t vote people into a NASCAR race of sorts.  Speed and pushing is not helping the good people of Alabama.  But of course you aren’t really wanting to do what is good and right for the people of Alabama.  Instead you just want to speed things through so fast that you think people won’t notice your underhanded tricks.  If you want the people of Alabama served and want to actually follow through with campaign promises, look at yourself and the other do nothing Dems and quit blaming the folks who are actually trying to do what’s good and HONEST for the people of Alabama.

It’s time for Lowell Barron and the rest of his kind in Montgomery to realize we aren’t going to let them just have their way and say nothing.  Your time of saying one thing and doing another without being called on it are over .  Women in Alabama are watching you.  Closely.

And you know how women like to talk…..
