On Thursday, August 23, 2007, at 9:30 a.m.
The Alabama State Board of Education
will vote on Chancellor Byrne’s and Governor Riley’s proposals
to prohibit the hiring of legislators and other elected state officials
in the state’s two-year college system.
Before voting, the Board will hear comments from the general public.
The Board meeting will be held in
the Auditorium of the Gordon Persons Building
